Introduction
I-Ming was born in 1959 with moderate multiple disabilities. He is good at oil painting. He has been joining the art class since 2002.
He was once an interior designer, but the work overload caused a stroke, which paralyzed his right side of the body and affected his language ability. To regain the value of life, and with his wife’s support, I-Ming is able to find a brand new self in the world of art.
Since he couldn’t rely on his dominant right hand to create an art work, he kept challenging himself to paint with the left hand. I-Ming likes to rework on his art pieces and think outside the box. He creates his own style , which ranges from free to semi-abstract paintings. He now is able to show whatever is in his heart through his art work.
I-Ming transformed from an interior designer, who could not accept any inaccuracy, into an artist. With his perseverance and passion for life, I-Ming found his confidence and happiness in life. Despite his language limitations, people can feel endless power of life coming out from his art work.
