Chi-Chong, born in 1973, moderately physically disabled, is particularly good at computer graphics. He has been joining the art class since 2005.
Just like Beethoven created his legendary melodies despite his ear deficiency, Chi-Chong, who has cerebral palsy, physical disabilities in his lower limbs, and color blindness makes extra hard work than others to overcome his physical challenges and creates vivid and dazzling artworks.
Chi-Chong memorizes all the color codes in computers to resolve the problem of not being able to distinguish the color difference. He pays extra attention than others in choosing colors on computers. He especially focuses on the brightness, layers of colors, and the details of composition; as a result, Chi-Chong’s computational art design has shown more modeling effect and exuberance. He, who pursues perfection in his mind, pays high attention to details. He reexamines his works over and over when they are completed until he feels they are good enough to be presented to the public.
Chi-Chong’s works have been printed on various products during the Taipei Flora Expo and have received very good response. He believes that people recognize his works not because they appreciate the superficial level of the paintings but because they can sense his devotion to art. He hopes that he can create greater art works with higher sales in the future and owe all the honor and success to his parents and God in return.
