Culture develops diverse fusions and has always been a focus of interaction between countries and regions. Eden Social Welfare Foundation creates an online platform for those with disabilities in the Asia Pacific region to engage in culture exchange and preservation which break through the restrictions caused by the pandemic. Also, there would be a workshop of the disability art to unveil different vision for the persons with disabilities.
It’s expected that the artworks could be seen globally and present the incomparable artistic talent of artists with disabilities. Besides sharing the artworks, deepen Asia Pacific arts platform and expand the dialogue on the rights of persons with disabilities in Asia Pacific so as to achieve the vision of social recognition and consensus as well as to realize the spirit of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) by United Nations, which includes article 3, 5, 8, 10, 27 and 30. The ultimate goal mainly for fairness, equality, cognition and inclusive environment should be valued.
The workshop would be held on December 10th Friday at 9:30 a.m. to 12:00p.m. In addition to the actual activities for the distinguished guests, people can also take part in as the form of virtual meeting. We sincerely invite you to come and step into the art world with the artists with disabilities.
